TicketSea price data
How TicketSea tracks ticket prices
One source, one price per event per day, and the rules for what counts as a price move. Plainly stated, so you know what the numbers mean.
Where the prices come from
Every price on TicketSea’s price pages comes from one source: TickPick’s affiliate catalog, which TickPick publishes through the Impact partner network with each event’s lowest available listing. TicketSea reads the catalog about once a day. We do not collect prices from StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats or Ticketmaster for these pages, so a cheaper seat may exist elsewhere.
What “lowest price” means
The lowest listed price for one ticket on TickPick at the time of the catalog, all-in: TickPick charges no buyer fees, so it is the price at checkout before any delivery option or local tax. It is one listing, usually in the least expensive section.
How often, and since when
One price per event per day since September 28, 2026. Each day’s price is kept for 35 days, then one day a week (Monday) for a year, so past events keep their history.
What we leave out
Parking passes, tailgates, shuttles and season tickets; events with fewer than four tickets listed; canceled and postponed events; and postseason games, because marketplaces keep possible playoff games listed for teams that may never play them. Those have their own trackers, such as the World Series tracker.
How a price move qualifies
The weekly drop and rise lists compare today’s lowest price with the price seven days earlier. A move is listed only when both prices had at least 20 tickets behind them, the change is at least $10 on an event priced at $40 or more, it is no larger than threefold either way, and the new price has held for two days. That keeps a single stray listing from looking like a market move.
The get-in price index
The median lowest price across events in the next 60 days that also had a price seven days earlier, compared with those same events a week before. Half the events cost less to get into and half cost more.
What these pages do not do
No forecasts, no section-by-section prices and no buy-or-wait advice. A lowest price can change minutes after the catalog. Always confirm the event, seats and total on TickPick before you buy.
Matching and corrections
Each TickPick event is matched to its TicketSea event page by date, time, venue and performer. If a match or a price looks wrong, email hello@ticketsea.com and we will check it.
